HDI supplies the precision-engineered kit, comprehensive assembly manuals, and mandatory on-site Technical Representative for warranty validation. You manage local permitting, civil works, crane logistics, and site assembly using your preferred trade network.

HDI-Assisted Construction

HDI provides expanded project management to oversee crane operations and structural assembly using your site crews. Combines local trade utilization with factory-direct oversight for maximum schedule certainty and accelerated lock-up.

Canadian professional review

All Canadian projects must be reviewed, adapted, and approved by the appropriate Canadian licensed professionals for site conditions, permitting, code compliance, and local authority requirements. Canadian professional review, engineering, permit adaptation, and local authority submission are separate unless specifically quoted.

Standard allowance $12 / sq. ft.

Estimated assembly labour is calculated at a standard planning allowance of $12 per sq. ft. Final labour requirements may vary by site access, project scale, sequencing, weather, and local coordination, and will be confirmed before contract.

  • Custom Premium (+12%): Enhanced materials, improved soundproofing, and upgraded lighting.
  • Custom Signature (+18%): Higher-end finishes, built-in cabinetry, designer tiles, premium lighting, and stone accents. Luxury finish.

Climate & Energy

  • Climate Packs:
    Standard (BC Code, Included)
    Moderate Climate (+1.5%) – coastal and southern BC.
    Northern Climate (+8%) – enhanced insulation and glazing for colder regions.
  • BC Energy Step Code:

Fixed Add-Ons

Exclusions & Logistics

  • Pricing assumes road-accessible communities and typical crane access.
  • Shipping is estimated from the nearest major port and refined during detailed engineering.
  • Delivered-to-site estimate: Landed CAD price (includes ocean freight + duty to Canadian port) plus inland freight to site (at cost or allowance).
  • Site preparation, civil works, and foundations (concrete or screw piles) are quoted separately based on geotechnical reports and local conditions.
